Students are very busy preparing for the
ISAT Tests. The Math ISAT is May 2nd. The Science ISAT test is May 10th. Please print the two Science ISAT Study
Sheets and review the information with your child.
Researching on the Internet is challenging and educational. Our two fifth grades at Edahow are creating PowerPoint Presentations
about either a Solar System topic or about an Ecosystem topic.
Don't forget, wear blue and white every Friday to show your school
spirit.
Spelling tests are usually on Friday. The spelling list
goes home the Friday before the test. Download all spelling tests here. A letter from your child comes
home every Friday. If your child reads the letter to you and ask you to sign the letter, he/she will receive 50 points. Students
have a Math homework sheet to complete every Monday. The Class Calendar Link above
will tell you all the activities happening in our class and the school. Check the Assignments tab for any updates
in homework.
In my class education is not a spectator sport. Learning is an active process and your child is in the driver's seat.
Therefore, our class Web Site will also be a great place to learn. A class web site can be a creative way of getting students
excited about a subject, keeping them up to date on assignments, and providing them with valuable online resources. Because
a class site should be engaging, I'll present information that makes the subject interesting and fun, such as brain teasers
or polls about current events. Of course, I've included plenty of links so students can explore a wealth of ideas on
the web.
